City council to discuss annexation

Marvin Planning Consultants could be hired to conduct study for city

Annexation may be in the future for Humphrey.

The city council will discuss a proposal for an annexation study at its Monday June 17, meeting. The council convenes at 7 p.m. at the Humphrey Community center.

If the council agrees to move forward with an annexation study, Keith Marvin, of Marvin Planning Consultants, of David City, will be hired to conduct it.

Marvin was previously hired by the city to help develop a comprehensive plan and zoning regulations for the city.
