The America Red Cross held a blood drive May 8 for the Espiritu and Coble families. Deco Espiritu and Riggs Coble, preschoolers at Platte Center Elementary School, have acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Lady Bulldogs take triangular

On Sept. 19, the Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family Lady Bulldogs hosted the High Plains Lady Storm and the Clarkson-Leigh Lady Patriots in a volleyball triangular.

The H-LHF girls won their game against Clarkson-Leigh in three sets. The scores of the sets were 23-25, 25-16, and 25-12.

The team total for kills for the H-LHF Bulldogs was 44. Allie Schneider had 20 and Paige Beller had 11. Adding to the total were Brittney Veik (3), Hailey Goering (3), Madison Swerczek (5), and Kenna Roelle (2). Leading the team in ace serves was Brooklynn Magsamen with 3. Ashely Schemek, Roelle, Veik, and Schneider each had one.
