Bulldogs take control, whip Spalding Academy 79-24

Thirty-two unanswered points broke open a close game as Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family roared past Spalding Academy 79-24 in Lindsay Friday. Leading 15-12 in the second quarter, the Bulldogs took command in the second and third quarter. Bryce Classen accounted for a pair of rushing scores, covering 45 and 23 yards and added a 56-yard punt return for a touchdown. Zach Pfeifer ran in from 34, 24 and 20 yards as the Bulldogs opened up a 53-12 lead in the third. Spalding Academy broke into the end zone in the third when Isaac Tenski scored on a 1-yard run, but the Bulldogs went right back to work. Ashton Sims galloped 15 yards to help give HLHF a 67-18 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
