H-LHF shuts down Elba 62-6

A 42-point first quarter barrage led Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family to a 62-6 win Friday at Elba. Ashton Sims started the game by recording a safety, and Bryce Classen and Ayden Veik each returned punts for touchdowns, covering 50 and 58 yards, respectively. Jacob Sjuts completed all eight of his passes for 99 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Ethan Keller, Jason Sjuts and Paxton Bertrand. Bryce Classen added a 25-yard touchdown, and Ashton Sims a 24-yard run. Zach Pfeifer and Sage Frauendorfer each found the end zone. The Bulldogs, 5-1, host St. Edward Friday in Lindsay at 7 p.m.
