Flyers earn first 2 wins of season

The St. Francis boys opened up the season with a pair of wins. The Flyers knocked off Palmer 71-26 Dec. 6, and took care of Heartland Lutheran 75-25 Dec. 7. Against Palmer, Dylan Wemhoff led the charge with 16 points and seven rebounds. The Flyers took a 23-2 lead after the first quarter and led 44-13 at the half. The outscored Palmer 27-13 in the second half to secure the win. Tanner Pfeifer scored 13 points and had four steals, and Trevor Pfeifer added 12. Justin Leifeld scored nine points. Karsen Reimers led Palmer with 13 points.
