Flyers wear down York to claim tourney title

The St. Francis defense wore down York Saturday evening as the Flyers pulled away for a 62-48 win to claim the title of the St. Francis Holiday Tournament.

Trailing 26-24 at halftime, the Flyers went on a 19-9 run in the third for a 43-35 lead.

The Pfeifer brothers hit from inside and out. Trevor connected on a pair of his four three-pointers, and Tanner hit back-to-back buckets and Justin Leifeld added a basket and free throw to end the quarter.
