St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Hot shooting Bulldogs top Stanton 70-27

Brittney Veik and Addison Schneider combined for 38 points for Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family in a 70-27 win over Stanton here Saturday.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-16 lead after the first quarter and 36-13 at the half.

The Mustangs had their best scoring quarter in the third, tallying 12 points, but surrendered 22, and H-LHF led 58-25 heading to the fourth, where the Bulldogs outscored them 12-2.
