St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

H-LHF girls defeat E/PJ, Madison; fall to Oakland-Craig

Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family held Madison to eight points through the first three quarters to post a 53-18 win Friday in the East Husker Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-3 lead after the first quarter and 27-6 at halftime. The advantage grew to 41-8 heading to the fourth, when the Dragons finally reached double figures with 10 points. Addison Schneider and Allie Schneider combined for 35 points and 18 rebounds. Addison connected on nine of 10 shots from the field, and Addison was seven for 11. Brittney Veik handed out five assists.
