St. Francis boys play with intensity

When teams get done playing St. Francis, it feels like they’ve been in a track meet.

Head coach Eric Kessler likes to keep the pressure on opponents and play fast.

“Fortunately we have some good athletes, kids that work hard at basketball, savvy guys who are willing to play intense stye of defense, which is how we coach, and then push the ball on offense,” he said. “I’ve always taken pride in our defense, and thankfully we have the kind of pieces that can run what I want to do and having the athletes play like that is the most advantageous way to play, and it’s a fun style to play and watch.”
