MURPHY'S LAW

I wait for the day when my wife tells me she’s going to work and she can’t say when she’ll be back.

She’s a respiratory therapist at Columbus Community Hospital, and every day the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) escalates increases the chances she will have to pack a suitcase and head to work, not knowing if she’ll be gone a few days, weeks or maybe a month or two.

If the number of cases increases to the point the larger hospitals cannot handle the load, patients will be shipped to other hospitals throughout the state. If that happens the medical community will be locked in for the long haul.
