Scary, stressful times

Jody Preister tests negative for COVID-19

The symptoms foretold of the worst. A sore throat, chest pains, fever and cough all seemed like COVID-19 to Humphrey’s Jody Preister.

Eventually, she learned she was negative for coronavius, it was an upper respiratory bacteria, but in between thinking the worst and worrying about her health, her husband, Bob, and everyone else she had come in contact with, there was a lot of stress.

Preister, 65, had been to Texas and Louisiana while visiting her sister, and did not display any signs of illness until a few days after she returned home.
