Platte Center to add land, well

Five properties will soon be joining Platte Center.

The village board of trustees discussed annexing properties northwest of city limits and having them become part of Platte Center at its Aug. 11 meeting.

An ordinance will be on the Sept. 8 meeting agenda that will officially include those properties as part of the village.
