St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis students bring pumpkins to life

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Well, it is at least the best creative effort based on the opinions of those who vote on the HSF Dispatch.

For the second year in a row the St. Francis journalism team has hosted the Great Pumpkin contest for students in grades K-12. This year there were nine entries.

The contest was started last year by Taylor Wemhoff who has since graduated, but it was such a success that the team decided to do it again.
