Write-in votes still being counted
Seventy-five percent of Platte County registered voters cast a ballot in the Nov. 3 General Election, and there are still some results to be revealed.
Election Commissioner Connie Sebourn said she and her staff are still going through write-in ballots.
“(The ballots) have to be done by Nov. 13. We will inform the city and the candidates. We are still working on all the writein (candidates). We have 1,891 write-in names to go through on the computer,” she said.
