St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis seniors signs to play basketball at NU

He watched the little girl play football with the boys and more than hold her own. Never dreaming a few years later he would coach the best basketball player in the history of the school.

St. Francis girls basketball coach Bryan Reichmuth told that story of noticing Allison Weidner when she was a child playing football with boys and setting the pace.

Moments later he, along with family, teammates and classmates watched her sign her letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
