St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Flyers handle Crofton, 63-37

St. Francis ran its record to 8-0 Dec. 29, with a win over Crofton, 63-37, in the opening round of the West Point/Beemer Holiday Tournament.

The Flyers jumped out to a 19-10 first quarter lead and 33-18 at halftime and were never threatened.

They outscored Crofton 19-11 in the third to lead 52-29 heading to the fourth.
