St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Humphrey FFA qualifies two speakers for state competition in April

The Humphrey FFA Chapter competed at District 2 Leadership Skills Events which were hosted through zoom on Monday, Dec. 7, and Monday, Dec.14.

Eleven FFA members competed in several events.

Even with the competition being done differently this year, the hard work and practice of the competitors paid off and resulted in two individual state qualifiers and the rest of the competitors received purple and blue ribbons.
