H-LHF boys get hot in 2nd half to beat Wisner-Pilger

Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family withstood Wisner-Pilger’s first half barrage to rally in the second half and post a 71-65 road win Jan. 12.

The Gators scored 22 in each of the first two quarters to open up a 44-31 halftime lead, and then the Bulldogs went to work.

They trimmed the deficit to 52-47 heading to the fourth quarter, and then took over. The Bulldogs outscored Wisner-Pilger 24-11 in the fourth to earn the comeback win.
