Hoops heaven

The Humphrey girls and boys basketball teams are enjoying a great run this season, and their coaches are having a ball

Home of great athletes and teams over the years, this year it could see four teams head to Lincoln with chances to bring home state championships.

Kandee Hanzel, Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls head coach; Bryan Reichmuth, St. Francis girls head coach; Joe Hesse, H-LHF boys head coach; and Eric Kessler, HSF boys head coach, sat down together last week to talk tradition, hopes for this season, keeping an eye on each other’s teams and dreaming how good combined teams would be.
