All four basketball teams are heading to the state tournament in Lincoln. The St. Francis and Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls teams qualified Friday, and the boys from H-LHF and HSF followed their lead on Saturday. Tournament play opens this week for the girls and the following week for the boys. Four basketball teams from Humphrey, Lindsay are heading to state

The streets of Humphrey and Lindsay will be pretty empty the next two weeks.

The girls and boys basketball teams from St. Francis and Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family will be in Lincoln for the girls and boys state tournaments.

The girls tip-off Wednesday with the Lady Flyers go up against Sterling at 11 a.m. at Lincoln North Star in a Class D-2 battle.

The Lady Bulldogs playing Fremont Bergan at 1:30 p.m. at Lincoln Southwest in Class D-1.
