Kessler proud of team's resiliency, toughness

St. Francis head coach said team has bounced back from tough losses early

For a former business major, Eric Kessler is enjoying coaching basketball.

The St. Francis boys basketball coach enters the boys state tournament with a 20-4 team that has been battle tested.

After a stretch of three losses in a row — some not even close games — the Flyers have regrouped and soared through subdistricts and districts to make another trip to Lincoln.

They were runner-up a year ago, and hope to finish the deal this year.
