Jim Pillen is the new governor of Nebraska.The Republican Platte Center native and resident of Columbus, defeated Democrat Carol Blood in Tuesday’s General Election.“Nebraska voters spoke with one voice tonight for less government, less mandates, less taxes and in favor of commonsense, business leadership,” Pillen said in a press release.
