Joey 'Joe' Korth

Joey 'Joe' Korth

Joey “Joe” Korth, 41, of Humphrey, Nebraska, passed away surrounded by his family on December 10, 2025, at Franciscan Healthcare in West Point, Nebraska.

A private family service will be held.

Joe was born on September 18, 1984, in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Kerry and Linda (Frauendorfer) Korth. He grew up attending Humphrey St. Francis High School, proudly graduating with the Class of 2003. During his school years, Joe was a dedicated and well-rounded athlete, participating in football, basketball, baseball, and track.

Outside of sports, Joe found joy in the outdoors. He cherished time spent hunting and fishing, and he was always happiest when surrounded by friends—whether gathered around a pool table or a foosball table. Joe also had a natural talent for working with his hands. He enjoyed working on his car and helping his dad with his truck, moments that not only strengthened their bond but also inspired his future career.

After high school, Joe attended Northeast Community College, pursuing a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He went on to work for Cornhusker International Truck, a role he took great pride in. Joe was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skill, and willingness to help others—qualities that made him deeply respected by coworkers and customers alike.

Joe will be remembered for his kind heart, his steady presence, and the way he could bring

laughter and light to those around him. His family and friends will forever treasure the memories they shared and the lasting impact he made on their lives.

Joe is survived by his mother, Linda Korth of Humphrey; his sister, Angie Korth, and nephew Cohen, of Omaha; his brother Jaime (Shari) Korth, and their children Karter, Kyler, Mikenna (Tyler) Maylee and Baker Brand, of Omaha; and his brother Josh (Katie) Korth, and their children Paisley and Gavin, of Columbus.

Joe was preceded in death by his dad, Kerry Korth; grandparents, Francis and Katherine Korth, James and Kathaleen Frauendorfer, uncles, Kelly Korth and Tom Hastreiter, aunt, Sandy De Vore, cousins, Andy Korth and Ben Hastreiter.
