Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. Visitation is Thursday from 4-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. vigil service, all at the church. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of plants, flowers and statues, the family requests memorials be designated to Humphrey Fire and Rescue.

Terry Brockhaus was born January 6, 1964, in Norfolk to Thomas and Betty (Melcher) Brockhaus. He attended and graduated from Humphrey St.

Francis High School, where he picked up his lifelong nickname “Boulder.” Following graduation, he worked for John Deere where he enjoyed a 30+ year career and came to be known as HT. He met the love of his life, Stacey, at a dance at Wishbones in Columbus. The couple was united in marriage on August 14, 2004, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus.

Terry had a passion for buying, selling and dealing on farming equipment. He also enjoyed going on hunting trips, Nebraska football and volleyball, and enjoyed riding in the passenger seat while Stacey drove so he could take in all the scenery as they would drive by. Most importantly, Terry was a people person, befriending many people, near and far, over most of his life.
