Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday, May 8, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus. There will be a Vigil service at 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Isidore Church. Visitation with family will follow from 6-8 p.m., also at the Church. Visitation continues Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time at he the Church. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.

Wilma “Jean” Dohmen was born May 26, 1946, in Columbus to Philip and Marcella (Wegener) Greisen. She grew up on a farm by Platte Center and graduated from Humphrey High in 1964. Jean attended beautician school in Columbus. Jean worked at Dale Electronics and Becton Dickinson before staying at home to continuing raising her family.

Jean married Larry Dohmen on June 17, 1967, at St. Anthony’s in rural Platte Center.

Jean enjoyed traveling and going to see her grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Isidore Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Jean is survived by: Husband Larry Dohmen of Columbus Son Douglas (Mindy) Dohman of Centennial, CO Daughter Brenda (Brian) Austin of Elkhorn Son Chad (Shannon) Dohmen of Lincoln Son Gregg (Claire) Dohmen of Wauwatosa, Wis.
