Eloise Seward
Eloise Seward

Eloise was a proud graduate of Humphrey St. Francis High School and continued to cheer on the school's athletic achievements over the years. She graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in education, and later earned her master's degree in Elementary Administration from Wayne State College. Eloise was a steadfast advocate for Catholic education, deeply believing in its lifelong value. Though she found great purpose in every year of her educational career, her proudest legacy was co-founding St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1990, alongside Father John Pertusky — a testament to her dedication to faith-based education. After starting with just four grades, the school grew within ten years to become the largest Catholic elementary school in the state during her twelve-year tenure as principal.
Eloise’s heart belonged entirely to her four grandchildren. She took immense pride in watching Sam, Charlie, Caroline, and Henry grow, and she was always their most dedicated fan on the sidelines of their sporting and school events. Her unconditional love and enthusiastic support will remain a cherished memory for them always.
Eloise leaves behind a lasting legacy of love. She is survived by her husband, Jim Seward; daughters, Jamie, and Meg and her husband, Travis; and grandchildren, Sam, Charlie, Caroline, and Henry. The eldest daughter of nine children, Eloise always maintained a deep, unbreakable
bond with her siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Rollman; her beloved sister, Julie Rollman; and her brothers, Jim Rollman, and Tom Rollman and his wife, Kathy; and her father and mother- in-law, Wendall and Margaret Seward.
She is survived by her siblings, Wilfred (Barbara) Rollman, Tim (Marge) Rollman, Mary (Tom) McGuire, Margaret (Lew) Dennis, and Kate (Tony) Sorrentino; and her sisters-inlaw, Carol Withrow and Becky Stephanie. Her memory will be cherished by a large, loving extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, and lifelong friends.
