St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Alta M. (Lowden) Crandall

Memorial Services for Alta M. (Lowden) Crandall, age 91, of Norfolk will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Norfolk. Reverend Jackie Perry will officiate. Inurnment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Face Masks are required for the service. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

She passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Care Center in Norfolk.

Alta Mae was born in Santee, Nebraska on November 20, 1928 to Owen Everett Knapp Lowden and Sarah “Sadie” Ellen Crosley Lowden. The family moved to Center, Neb., where Alta attended school and graduated from the Center High School in 1946. She was blessed with the man who she called her “real dad” when Anton L. Konopasek married her mother and enriched her life with six siblings.
