St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Arlene Kurtenbach

Arlene Kurtenbach, 90, of Newman Grove, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at the Boone County Hospital, Albion, Neb.

A Celebration of Life Mass was at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay with the Reverend Father Eric Olson and Reverend Father Jim Novotny celebrated the mass. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, with a 7 p.m. vigil service and rosary at the church. Visitation continue from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the church. Interment was at the Holy family Cemetery.

Arlene was born on July 2, 1929, in Creighton, Neb., to Joseph and Minnie (Wiese) Lindhorst. She was united in marriage to Vernon (Swede) Kurtenbach on Aug.18, 1947, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay. To this union, 8 children were born.
