St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Deacon Harry Nienaber

Deacon Harry Nienaber, 80, of Lindsay, Neb., died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Countryside Home in Madison, Neb..
 
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay, and Father James Novotny and Monsignor Robert Nienaber were concelebrants. Interment was in the parish cemetery with military honors by the American Legion & VFW Post 35 Honor Guard. Visitation was Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and a 7 p.m. Scripture Service at the church. Visitation continued on Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Family Parish
