Marilyn L. Schroeter, 86, of Newman Grove, Neb., passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at the Boone County Health Center in Albion, Neb.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Newman Grove, Neb., and Jacquelyn Samway, PMA officiated. Burial followed at Trinity West Cemetery, Newman Grove. Visitation was Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Masks were required at the visitation and the funeral service. There was a recording of Marilyn’s service that can be viewed on her obituary page at www.levanderfuneralhome.com later on Tuesday.

Marilyn Lucille Schroeter, daughter of Stanley and Mary (Karella) Voborny, was born on Sept. 17, 1934 at Omaha, Neb. She was baptized in 1934 at the Schoolcraft Church, rural Newman Grove, Neb., and was also confirmed there in 1947. Marilyn attended grade school in the Schoolcraft area and graduated from Newman Grove High School in 1951.
