Ronald L. Frauendorfer

Ronald L. Frauendorfer, 82, of Humphrey, Neb., died Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, Neb.

Mass of Christian Burial was on Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Eric Olsen celebrating the Mass. Visitation was on Monday from 4-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service at the church. Visitation continued on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time also at the church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cornlea, Neb. Memorials are those of the donor's choice.

Ronald L. Frauendorfer was born in Humphrey, Neb., on Oct. 18, 1936, to Tony and Ann (Vavra) Frauendorfer. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Cornlea, Neb. On June 8, 1954, Ron was united in marriage to Donna Finkral at St. Francis Catholic Church in Schoolcraft, Madison County, Nebraska. Ron farmed his entire life, until retiring in 1997, when he and Donna moved in to Humphrey. Ron enjoyed playing his guitar and singing in different nursing homes. His signature greeting when coming up to the microphone was, “Hello Darlin’.” Ron also enjoyed traveling, playing euchre, and especially loved spending time with his family.

Son: Randy (Kim) Frauendorfer of Newman Grove, Neb.

Son: Steve Frauendorfer of Humphrey, Neb.

Daughter: Rhonda (Tod) Anderson of Humphrey, Neb.
