St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Classen stars; Bulldogs fall

A 10-point third quarter lead evaporated in the fourth Friday as Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family fell at McCool Junction, 52-41. The Bulldogs built the lead on the strength of Bryce Classen’s night. The senior back ran for 265 yards and scored all six of their touchdowns. McCool Junction led 15-13 after the first quarter, but H-LHF roared back in the second to take a 27-15 halftime lead.
