Flyers take early lead to take down Hartington-Newcastle

St. Francis jumped out to an early lead and held off a Hartington-Newcastle comeback to post a 71-58 win Dec. 8.

The Flyers led 26-8 after the first quarter and 46-20 at halftime, but the Wildcats fought back in the second half.

They outscored St. Francis 15-10 in the third to trim the deficit to 56-35.
