Flyers trio have unfinished business at state

Forney, Leifeld, Pfeifer head to Lincoln with unfinished business on their minds

They take a lot of pride is doing things the right way, practices are not a lot of laughs, but they love playing for Head Coach Eric Kessler.

When the St. Francis boys take the court in Lincoln this week for the state tournament, seniors Austin Leifeld and Haustyn Forney and junior Tanner Pfeifer say they are determined to have a better ending than last season’s loss in the finals to Falls City Sacred Heart.

If they win, they will credit doing things “The Flyer Way,” which they explained.
