St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Austin Leifeld takes a shot against Central Valley. St. Francis posted an 83-72 win.

Forney, Pfeifer, Leifeld lead Flyers past Central Valley

Haustyn Forney led three Flyers in double figures with 27 points as St. Francis knocked off Central Valley 83-72 Feb. 2.

Forney scored 27 points, and Tanner Pfeifer followed with 26, and Justin Leifeld scored 22.

The Flyers led 22-17 after the first quarter, and Central Valley narrowed its deficit to 41-39 at halftime.
