St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

H-LHF 2-1 at Bartlett tourney

Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family Bulldogs played Twin Loup, Riverside, and Chambers-Wheeler Central in the Bartlett Tournament Sept. 21.

Against Twin Loup, H-LHF won in two sets, 25-16 and 25-12. Paige Beller led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 kills. Brittney Viek had six, Allie Schneider recorded four, Madison Swerczek had two, and Kenna Roelle got one kill. Riley Jurgens had four aces in the game.

The H-LHF team total for blocks was five. The Lady Bulldogs who had blocks were Beller (2), Roelle (1), Viek (1), and Schneider (1). Schneider led the way in digs with 13. Also in double-digits was Veik with 10. Other girls who had successful digs were Jurgens ( 9), Schemek (6), Roelle (5), Brooklynn Magsamen (5), Autumn Bender (3), Lexi Hake (3), Beller (2), and Swerczek (1). Roelle and Schneider combined for 23 set assists in the win.
