St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

HSF boys 1st at conference meet

The St. Francis boys left the competition in the dust Friday, earning first place in the Goldenrod Conference meet at Burwell.

Brock Pfeifer and Garret Zach finished third and fourth, respectively, with times of 18:58.07 and 19:14.76.

Eli McPhillips finished ninth in a time of 20:14.90, and Mitch Ternus placed 10th in 20:26.17.
