Lady Bulldogs breeze through subdistrict

One win away from state.

The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family won the Class D1-3 Subdistrict by whipping Plainview 72-40 here Thursday.

They travel to Shelby Friday to play Meridian for the right to go the state tournament. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs seized control of the game midway through the first quarter, finishing the period on a 9-0 run with Alisha Dahlberg connecting from 3, Lexi Frauendorfer adding a bucket and Addison Schneider scoring the last four points of the first to turn a 6-5 deficit to a 14-6 lead.
