St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Lady Bulldogs throw down Tri-County NE in 4 sets

The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls are playing their best at the right time.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Tri-County Northeast Oct. 27 in the finals of the Class D1-3 Subdistrict 25-13, 25-23, 13-25, 26-24.

The win put them in Saturday’s district final against Mead for the right to go to the state tournament.
