St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Lady Flyers stop Riverside in straight sets

Alissa Kosch had a game-high three pancakes in the second set when St. Francis defeated Riverside Chargers Sept. 19 at home.

The Chargers struggled in the first set, while the Lady Flyers played well on both sides of the ball, winning 25-9. The Lady Flyers came out sluggish in the second set, allowing for a brief run for the Chargers. They were able to pull themselves together and take charge though with a run of points and won 25-10.
