St. Francis senior Jack Lubischer finished 4th last week in the Class D Nebraska State Golf Tournament held at Lake Maloney golf course just south of North Platte.

The two-day, 36-hole tournament featured the best golfers in Class D from across the state.

Lubischer shot an 81 on the first day playing in ideal conditions.

His round got off to a rocky start as he took an 11 on the par 5 second hole but he rebounded nicely and was 3 over par the rest of the day to finish in a tie for 7th after day 1.
