St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis girls split pair of games

Allison Weidner’s 29 points led St. Francis to a 70-41 win Saturday at Fullerton. She tallied a tripled double with 12 rebounds and 10 steals. Weidner also handed out five assists. The Flyers jumped out to a 20-6 lead after the first quarter. Fullerton got its offense going in the second, outscoring HSF 18-16, to trim the Flyers lead to 36-24 at the half. The Flyers secured the win with a 19-7 third quarter to take a 55-31 lead heading to the fourth. The Flyers held the Warriors to just 10 points in the fourth. Lauren Pfeifer scored 10 points with three rebounds, Kaylee Stricklin scored eight with six rebounds, and Alissa Kosch scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds. Caitlyn Jarosz scored nine points with three rebounds and Peighton Eisenmenger hauled in nine boards.
