Veik's 17 lead Bulldogs past Twin River 66-34

Brittney Veik received a plaque for scoring her 1,000 career point, then went out and led Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family with 17 points in a 66-34 win over Twin River here Feb. 13.

The senior guard connected on seven of 10 shots, including three of four from behind the arc.

Veik connected two on 3s in the first as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 25-13 lead.
