Three first quarter scores and a fourth down stop lifted St. Francis to a 42-8 win over Axtell here Friday in the second round of the Class D-2 state playoffs.

The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family Jr. High football team completed the 2023 season with a record of 3-1. The Bulldogs picked up wins over Riverside, Bancroft-Rosalie and Clarkson-Leigh. The lone lose was to Stanton. Flyers run well at districts

St Francis battled the wind and good competition Oct. 11 at the Class D-2 District cross country meet at Twin Creeks Golf Course in Pender.
