A pair of district champs and a number of state qualifiers highlighted Thursday’s D-3 District meet in Humphrey.

The St. Francis girls and boys track teams will be well-respresented Friday at State and the Nebraska State Track & Field Meet at Burke Stadium in Omaha.
Seth Wiese run the 200-meter dash for the Bulldogs.
Anna Stricklin, front, and Karly Kessler run the 320-meter run. Stricklin won the event in 13:25.70, and Kessler placed fourth in 13:30.50.
Averi Gronenthal competes for the Bulldogs.
Garret Zach, Brock Pfeifer and Keith Ternus compete in the 3200-yard run for St. Francis.
The St. Francis girls rode six first place finishes to win the Bulldog Invitational here May 4.

The St. Francis golf team had it's best finish of the season as it finished second in its home invite held at Steepleview Golf Course Thursday.
