On Oct. 28, Lindsay Holy Family students participated in a school wide STEM Activity. The activity was organized by science teacher Nicole Trautman. Elementary, junior high and high school students were put into 12 groups. The groups walked around the community together gathering leaves, sticks, and bark samples from the trees around town, while also recording data. The students used what they collected to identify the different trees in the community. The students also used the leaves in a chemistry experiment to pull out the colors on a coffee filter.
