A ceremony was held to honor the late Robert Greisen July 4, who lost his life during World War II. His family gathered in Lincoln to present two of his siblings, Jeannie Korus and Harry Greisen, the Purple Heart he earned for his service to our country. Courtesy photo

The Werner family is donating $50,000 to help construct a new swimming pool in Humphrey. The family is donating to honor the late Bill Werner, who owned and operated Do It Best Werner’s Hardware for many years and served as the town’s mayor.
