St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

No one went away hungry Sunday from St. Francis Parish Bazaar. The traditional turkey and sausage dinner, complete with side dishes and desserts, was served, as the gym filled up as patrons took a break from the kids' runs, shopping to refuel in time for the evenings auction. HSF Honor Society blood drive collects 69 units; raises scholarship money

On Sept. 22, the Humphrey St. Francis National Honor Society hosted its annual blood drive in the school gym.

CCC lowers levy for 4th straight year

The Central Community College Board of Governors has approved an operating budget for 2021-22, which includes a fourth straight decrease in the property tax levy for the 25 counties served by CCC.
