Donald Francis Shemek, 92, of Humphrey, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 27, 2020,
Leander Sylvester “Lee” Weis was born in rural Fillmore County, Neb., on Feb. 27, 1936, to Andrew John and Cecelia Theresa Widhalm Weis.
Mass of Christian Burial for Leo W. Tighe, 96, Madison, Neb., was held Monday, March 23, 2020, at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison. Interment was in St. Leonard’s Catholic Cemetery. Military honors were conducted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard, American Legion Post 35 and VFW Post 5763. Resseguie Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Funeral service for Lawrence A. Polt, 91, of Pierce will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierce with Father Tim Forget officiating the service.
